About Becca
Based in Brooklyn, NY I am an artist and creative working around the form of the book. I work primarily with printmaking and artist books, as well as personal writing and poetry. Still moderately afraid of the dark, my work often grapples with how fear controls us, both nostalgically and hauntingly. I often work with risograph, monoprinting, and letterpress printing, as well as creating immersive experiences for my artist books.
I received my BA in English, minoring in book art, and graduated with an MFA in Book Art from Mills College. I teach book art at various levels, among other freelancing, commissioned projects, and artist assistant work. Most recently I had a solo show, "Vacancy: an immersive exhibition," in the Book Art Pocket Gallery at Mills College at Northeastern University, but I have also shown at the Zuckerman Museum of Art, UC Berkeley, and James Madison University. My work can be found in collection at Columbia University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and UC Berkeley Environmental Design Library.
